Chip Shot: The “Suite” XML of Success

At Oracle OpenWorld today, Intel announced a partnership with open source Enterprise Service Bus vendor, MuleSource, that will integrate Intel's software library into Mule Xpack for Intel® XML Software Suite 1.1. The Intel® XML Software Suite 1.1 helps developers accelerate XML processing for all enterprise, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Web 2.0-based applications. An evaluation version of the product and an XML Benchmark Tool, that enables developers to test for processing problems and compare XML engine performance, are available for free download. Features of the upcoming release of Intel XML Software Suite 1.2, slated for November 2008, will be discussed at the "Overcoming XML and SOA Performance Limitations" session at Oracle OpenWorld today.
