magnify360 Gets Win At Citrix
Los Angeles-based magnify360, a provider of behavioral targeting tools for web sites, said today that it has been selected by Citrix to build a community site for its partner, Microsoft. magnify360, which is headed by former LowerMyBills.com technology VP Olivier Chaine, said it will build OneGreatPartner.com, a social networking and information web site focused on Citrix-Microsoft initiatives. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. magnify360’s technology is being used to serve the most relevant content and pages to users, based on behavioral targeting, multivariate testing and predictive modeling…. Particle Sizing Systems Acquired By Agilent
Santa Barbara-based Particle Sizing Systems, a developer of instruments for measuring the particle size and stability of materials, has been acquired by electronic test equipment maker Agilent. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Agilent, the acquisition will expand the firm’s portfolio of particle analysis solutions. Particle Sizing Systems’ products are used for measuring particle size in materials, and are used for measuring particles in soft drinks,inkjet inks and semiconductor polishing slurries. According to Agilent, most of Particle Sizing Systems’ 37 employees will join the firm.

Teledyne Buys Webb Research
Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies announced Tuesday that it has acquired the assets of Webb Research Corp., a E. Falmouth, Mass.-based manufacturer of autonomous underwater gliding vehicles, profiling drifters, and floats. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Teledyne, Webb Research had sales of $12.2M for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2007. Webb Research develops underwater vehicle systems used for oceanographic research, military surveillance, and subsea communications networks. Webb Research will be renamed Teledyne Webb Research.
