Douglas Award Dinner in Los Angeles. Fanprice.com, a new startup focused on helping fans exchange tickets, said that it has launched its services today. The firm said that it will allow fans to set the price they want to pay for tickets to sporting events, concerts, theater, and special events. The site allows users to browse for events, select a seat, and then name the price they would be willing to pay for a ticket. Sellers are then able to review and accept offers for those seats. Fanprice charges sellers a 15 percent fee for sales; there’s no cost to buyers of those tickets. Fanprice…. (more)
