This morning Nokia managed to announce a highly-anticipated GPS navigational
device without saying too much about it. What we can tell so far is that
the Nokia 330 Auto Navigation features a 3.5" color touch screen
and comes stocked with a 2GB memory card with pre-installed maps of Europe
(NAVTEQ) or North America (ROUTE 66 Navigate 7). You can also look forward
to unspecified music, photo, and video playback, and the blogosphere is
alive with demands for the Bluetooth functionality that doesn’t get mentioned
once in the press release linked above. Look for it in Europe in the Q4
of this year, with a US release following thereafter with a retail price
expected to be around $450. Via

If you are like us here at geekBlue you know it’s hard to find enough
plugs for every little gadget or mobile device you have. Well Gomadic
has found a very simple yet effective solution to this problem. It is
called Gomadic Tip Exchange and what it does is charge multiple devices
at one time. Gomadic carries tip models for almost every cell phone or
mobile device made. You can get a dual device home outlet charger or a
car charger for under $30.

The special feature about this product is that the tips are exchangeable
allowing you to carry multiple device charging tips without having to
carry multiple chargers. Changing the tips are as easy as unplugging and
plugging in your iPod headphones. Buy a tip for each device you need to
recharge and save a lot of money buying multiple chargers.

You’d think that there would have been a cross-branding strategy involving
an electronics manufacturer attempting to cash in on the appeal of James
Bond before now. Nothing comes to mind, which makes this Sony VGNTX007C
Limited Edition Spy Gear set all the more fetching (if not actually making
my shortlist of potential purchases). The compact 11" VAIO TX Notebook
is at the center of this kit, featuring a 1366 x 768 widescreen LCD and
weighing in at 2.8 lbs and 1" thick (.29" display). With 11
hours of battery life, the notebook gives you just enough juice for nocturnal
missions. You also get a Cyber-shot DSC-T50 with the package, featuring
7.2 megapixels, ISO 1000, a 3" display, and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar
lens. It’s currently available for preorder, with a date of arrival scheduled
for November 15. Via
